RWI 2024 Canyon Lakes, Columbia Pointe, Horn Rapids

Horn Rapids

We lost our first member, Donald Yamamoto. RIP Donald. Super Senior Frank Chin, who retired from RWI in 2022, lost his wife Ruth last year. Maybe Frank can be an honorary starter for us.  Also, we are missing Fred this year.  It was much quiter.

Our first hole in one, Larry, Canyon Lakes, hole #12, 108 yards.

For the first time we moved up to the forward age appropriate tees. With a couple of exceptions, we are all over 70.

RWI 2023 Eagles Pride, Salish Cliffs, and Tumwater Valley

This year we had the return of Dave Hata, and welcomed his brother Larry Hata. Unfortunately Ronnie Wong was not able to make it due to a hip injury, Donald is on the IR and our "old" friend Frank Chin didn't think is body could hold up for three days in a row. So even if you are having a lousy round, you are still out playing with your friends. Enjoy it while you can and be thankful for what you got. (Curtis Mayfield)

RWI 2019 Hilander, Gamble Sands, Alta Lake

This years RWI welcomed back Dave Nitta who filled in at the last minute, and I mean literally the last minute, for Dennis Koe who had to go on injured reserve.  Special kudos for ironman super senior Frank Chin who took one for the team.  Frank played three rounds in a row six weeks after lung surgery.  We all missed a free dinner from Norm by 2 inches at Hilander.
